Tuesday, July 12, began with class in our seminar room overlooking the Radcliffe Camera.  By the end of the morning we had been inside the Radcliffe Camera as part of our tour of the Bodleian Library.  (Sorry; no photos allowed in the library, and I forgot to take any in the courtyard.)  From there we went to the Covered Market for sandwiches from Brothers Sandwich Shop, and then we boarded a double-decker bus to Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.  We all enjoyed both the interior and the exterior of the palace.  My photos do not do justice to the majesty of the place.  For the first time on the whole trip, I have violated my self-imposed rule about not including a photograph that didn't have at least one Woodberry student inside the frame:
A bust of Churchill and the future Churchill:
The palace had a special exhibit of memorabilia of its most famous resident:
And here's a little bit of catching up from Monday.  Yesterday afternoon Jack and Max gave us a tour of All Souls College, the wealthiest and most exclusive of the Oxford Colleges (so exclusive that it has virtually no students):
Then we climbed the tower of St. Mary's, the University Church that borders the south side of Radcliffe Square.  That's Brasenose beneath us:
So now we have visited every address on the square: St. Mary's (south side), Brasenose (west side), the Bodleian Library (north side). All Souls College (east side) and the Radcliffe Camera (center).  To cap the day we were seated at the high table in the dining hall for a formal dinner with a James Bond theme:
