     We are celebrating the Fourth of July in a way that our English hosts would no doubt approve: starting the day with a large breakfast, following that with reading aloud the first act of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, breaking for a large lunch, touring the Natural History and Pitt Rivers Museum, and gathering in the afternoon for a reading of two newspapers apiece, writing, and discussion of current events.  In the photo above, taken in Radcliffe Square, Brasenose is in the background.  A few images from the museum:
